Suvarnabhumi (pronounced as su-wan-na-poom) Bangkok International Airport (BKK) was opened on 27 Sep. 2006. The airport is located 30 kms. to the east of Bangkok. It replaced Bangkok Don Muang International Airport (re-coded as DMK) - one of Asian longest serving airports, as the gateway of the city. DMK is now used mainly for charter flights.
Departures
United Check-in is located at Island L, check-in positions 1-10, on Departure Level 4 of Main Passenger Terminal. Tickets issued after 1 November 2006 for the passengers traveling on/after 1 February 2007 are included to pay Thai airport tax (PSC) of THB 700.

airline.
