Air Canada is a founding member of Star Alliance®. The miles you earn on Air Canada can be accrued in MileagePlus. And the flight miles you earn qualify toward elite status in MileagePlus. You earn one Elite Qualifying Mile (EQM) for each flight mile you earn and one Elite Qualifying Segment (EQS) for each segment you fly.

The miles accrued are determined by the operating airline. Please note that the booking class shown on your ticket may differ from the booking class relevant for mileage accrual. Please retain your boarding pass and a copy of your ticket until the mileage credit is reflected on your MileagePlus statement. As a MileagePlus elite member, flights on Air Canada earn the elite level mileage bonus (redeemable mileage credit):

• Premier members earn a 25% redeemable mileage credit bonus
• Premier Executives and 1K members earn a 100% redeemable mileage credit bonus
• All elites will receive a 500 mile minimum on all Air Canada flights
